James O. Onditi is currently seconded as the Manager Administration and Finance at Kenyatta University Women’s Economic Empowerment Hub. The Hub was established by a grant from Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. James is also the Manager Business Development at Kenyatta University Capacity Development and Consultancy Services since August 2018. He served the University in the same capacity under the Kenyatta University Consultancy Services Unit (KUCSU) from June 2016.  He also served at Kenya Industrial Estates Ltd (KIE) as Assistant Manager Business Development and Financial Services (September 2012 to June 2016 ), Acting Manager Business Development Department (May 2013 to January 2014), Senior Officer Risk Management (June 2011 to September 2012). He also worked at Equity Bank Limited as a Supervisor Agency Banking and Acquiring Business Channels (ABC) (April 2010 to June 2011), Relationship Officer Credit (August 2008 to April 2010).
James O. Onditi is currently pursuing PHD in Business Administration (Entrepreneurship) from the University of Nairobi. He holds a Masters of Business Administration (Strategic Management) from the University of Nairobi (UON), Bachelor of Arts (Economics and Business Administration) Degree from Kenyatta University (KU) and a Diploma in Information Management Systems (IMIS1-UK) from Strathmore University. He is an Associate Member of the Marketing Society of Kenya (MSK). He has undertaken a number of short courses in management and transformative leadership, Research Governance and Leadership, Pedagogy and Andragogy , WHO COVID-19 Mass Gatherings Risk Assessment, digital, social media marketing and Organizational Knowledge Management (KM). Additionally, he has been trained in Enterprise Risk Management framework, credit appraisal and management, business planning, budgeting and financing Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). He is a certified Quality Management Systems (QMS) Internal Auditor ISO 2001:2015; and trained on Risk Based Thinking ISO 2001:2015. He is currently championing Good Financial Grant Practice-ARS:1651 certification for Kenyatta University.
He has undertaken a number of consultancy and donor funded projects. Some of the international agencies he has worked with include: Johns Hopkins University, Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office, The George Washington University, International Centre for Research on Women (ICRW), University of California San Diego, German Development Agency/GIZ Kenya office, European Union, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, The World Bank, USAID/World Wide Fund (WWF), UNDP, International Labor Organization (ILO), The Government of Rwanda among others. James has also underaken projects with the Government of Kenya Ministries and Agencies including: The Ministry of Public Service, Youth & Gender Affairs (State Department of Youth Affairs), The Ministry of Devolution and Planning, The Ministry of Education Science and Technology. The agencies include: Kenya Civil Aviation Authority, Kenya Bureau of Standards, Kenya Industrial Estates, National Industrial Training Authority, International Peace Support Training Centre, KETRACO, KWS,  Teachers Service Commission, Uwezo Fund amond others.

Carol Weru

Vice chairperson

Ms. Carol Weru holds a master's degree in Business Administration -Strategic Management from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Nairobi and a Diploma in Human Resource Management from Kenya Institute of Management. She is a member of the management Board holding the position of the Vice- Chair.
Ms. Carol Weru has worked with Equity Bank, Kenya Industrial Estates (KIE) and currently working with Kenya Climate Innovation Centre (KCIC) in charge of Mt. Kenya Region. Carol is an accomplished entrepreneurial and private sector developer professionally skilled in designing, facilitating & managing business development and business re-engineering program in the financial, manufacturing and energy sectors. She has a wealth of experience in promotion and empowerment of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises including youth and women owned enterprises.

Monica C. Kotut has a wealth of experience in Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise development and promotion including youth and women owned enterprises; Project Management; Strategic Planning; Human Resource Management; Performance Management; Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001:2008); and General Administration. She is also a trained Integrity Assurance officer.
Monica C. Kotut is currently pursuing PhD in Strategic Management at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT). She has a Master of Business Administration (MBA-Human Resource Management); Bachelor of Arts (BA); and Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management. She is also a registered member of the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM).

Joseph Otieno Ayieko is the current Chairman, Supervisory Committee Viwanda SACCO. Joseph currently works as The Manager, Business Advisory Services at Kenya Industrial Estates. He is an experienced employee with over 25 years work experience offering industrial incubation services, credit and business advisory services. He is an experienced Trainer for Rural Economic Empowerment and has held various training roles on various topics including Transformative and Entrepreneurial Leadership, Community Economic Empowerment, Business Skills and Entrepreneurship Development for Cooperatives in different parts of the Country.
As Manager, Business Advisory Services, his work involves spearheading and directing the Business Advisory Services team into Research, Training and Consultancy in order to achieve strategic goals of the company, provision of linkages and market access services to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises as well as formulate and implement resource mobilization strategies.
Joseph Otieno Ayieko has a Master of Science in Entrepreneurship - Jomo Kenyatta University of Science and Technology, Bachelor of Business Administration with Information Technology (Management Option) - Maseno University, Diploma in Cooperative Audit - Cooperative University of Kenya, Diploma in Community Based Project Planning and Management - Kenya Institute of Social Work and Development, Certified Public Accountant(K)- Part II and Certification in Strategic Management and Leadership. Waturu Wahome

Member

Mr. Waturu Wahome is a practitioner in quality management systems, strategic management and performance management. He joined the society in 2014 and was elected a member of the Supervisory Committee in May, 2021. He was elected a member of Jujafarm Estate Committee in January, 2019 where he has served as the Chairperson since then. In April 2016, he was elected as a board member of a savings and credit cooperative society, where he has served as a vice chairman up to date.
He has served in managerial roles in public sector entailing planning, organizing and implementing policies and strategies. He has served in various leadership capacities creating visions and steering teams towards achieving them. All this has been useful to the society in ensuring its strategic direction, policies and structures are in full compliance with rules, regulations, principles of corporate governance and laws governing the housing societies’ sector.
